Spruha Vaishnav

Physical Therapist

Spruha graduated in 2014 from McMaster University with a BSc (Hon) in Kinesiology, and in 2016 with an MSc in Physiotherapy, also from McMaster. Since graduating she has taken courses in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, and Soft-Tissue Release. She has worked across a wide variety of settings and conditions, and has been involved in home care since graduation, where she enjoys the more personally tailored, functional approach to exercise.

Her treatment approach combines patient education, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, acupuncture, and modalities when appropriate. Spruha believes in empowering patients to play an active role in their recovery while she guides them through treatment progression. She provides a safe, comfortable setting for all patients, especially pre- and post-natal women with stress urinary incontinence or pelvic organ prolapse, as well as elderly patients with urinary incontinence.
