Physiotherapist

Samira is a passionate, skilled, and caring physiotherapist who holds both a BSc in Physiotherapy and a Master’s degree in Sport Physiotherapy. She has worked in outpatient clinics and hospital settings for more than ten years, treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Samira prides herself on patient-centred care, designing a specific recovery program for each patient. Using a combination of manual and exercise-based therapy and modalities, her approach reduces pain while improving stability, strength, and flexibility. As a specialist musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapist, she enjoys treating all injuries to restore health through advanced therapies.

In her spare time, Samira enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, and playing badminton. Special interests: back and neck pain (sciatica, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, herniated disc, mechanical low back pain, cervical radiculopathy); knee pain and injury (ACL rehab, TKA rehab, osteoarthritis, meniscal repair rehab); and shoulder pain and injury (impingement, rotator cuff injuries, post-surgery rehab). Samira provides home visits to patients in Markham, Vaughan, Thornhill, Richmond Hill, and North York.
